Keith O. Moeller
"Why this business? It’s hard to believe 30+ years have passed since I established Moeller Advisory Group. I was initially attracted to the idea of meaningful one-on-one interaction with people, hoping to have lasting positive impact on people’s lives. With a knack for numbers, this career just made sense...but, being a bit of an introvert, it wasn’t necessarily easy in those early years. My father’s influence as a very disciplined, hard-working individual, seems to have rubbed off on me. A thirst for knowledge and growth led me to become a life-long learner. Naturally gravitating toward more advanced planning scenarios, I enjoy the complex areas of estate and business planning, along with retirement and incapacity planning. It is immensely rewarding today to see the joy of smiling clients in photos shared (and emails received), finding the fulfillment of their dreams.
A happy surprise I hadn’t expected when establishing my career is the fun of working with the children of clients as they take over Mom and Dad’s business, or find different paths to living successful lives. I also discovered that I am a teacher at heart, enjoying periodic public speaking and teaching opportunities, instructing other advisors, and working alongside many of them, mentoring and serving clients together.
Me personally? When I’m not with clients or our team, you may see me working in the yard, or possibly on a golf course, but most often...you will find me with my family. Diann, my wife, is in the business with me and I like to say, “We have a 24/7 marriage.” When weather permits, we love to walk and ride bike (the peddling kind), and enjoy travelling to see the beautiful places of America. We love our children and grandchildren and are always finding ways to interact with them...either in person or through technology. Above all, faith in God is the bedrock foundation of my life, and it is my daily prayer to live a life of character that points people to Him."
